Uni-Line 829-020 Gas Direct Spark Ignition Control

Uni-Line 829-020 Gas Direct Spark Ignition Control
This control has 3 equivalent part numbers, 829-020, 05-296623-751, and 35-605500-001. The Fenwal 05-29 series (Uni-Line 829 series) are 24 VAC direct spark ignition controls. The 05-29 series provides positive ignition of main burners when heat is required. The ignition spark operates until the flame is established and then immediately shuts off. The flame sensing circuitry is positive and fail-safe. If after a try-for-ignition, a flame is not present, the unit goes into lockout de-energizing the the gas valve automatically. Resetting after the lockout is accomplished by cycling the wall thermostat down to its lowest setting then back to the desired comfort setting. If the flame is lost during normal heat cycle, a new trial-for-ignition sequence will commence. This is a non-prepurge, local type. One ignition attempt before lockout, 5 second valve trial time, 24 V, enclosed const. , 1/4 Q.C. connect. Fenwal part number 05-296623-751 , replaced by Triton part number 2460D500-001 , Uni-Line number 829-020.
